Muş Alparslan University (MAUN) was included in the World University Rankings 2025 by Times Higher Education (THE), one of the world's most well-known higher education ranking institutions, for which our Coordinatorship provided data entries. While MAUN was in the 1500+ band among the world's most successful higher education institutions, MAUN managed to be ranked 34th in the ranking in which 91 universities from Turkey participated.
In the ranking where universities are evaluated according to 5 different basic criteria, our University achieved significant ranking success by receiving the highest scores in the fields of "Research Quality" and "Research Environment" in the World University Rankings 2025.
While it was ranked 1431st among 2092 universities in the world in the "Research Quality" category, it managed to be ranked 35th among universities in Turkey. In the “Research environment” category, it ranked 1658th worldwide and 44th in Turkey.
